Another first in the region from Referans Medical Group
A cooperation agreement has been signed between Referans Medical Group and UpToDate, a global medical knowledge base and clinical decision support platform.
This cooperation, implemented for the first time in the region, will serve to expand digital approaches in healthcare, increase the accessibility of medical knowledge, and further improve the clinical decision-making process.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Referans Medical Group by Elnur Vahabov, member of the Supervisory Board and Director of Leyla Medical Center, and by Kamala Ashumova, National Coordinator of Ezgil Medical Technologies, the official partner of the "UpToDate" platform in Azerbaijan.
The event was attended by the leadership of Referans Medical Group and the "UpToDate" platform, as well as the heads of structural divisions, who exchanged views on the innovations that this cooperation will bring to the healthcare sector and on future opportunities.
It was noted that UpToDate, as one of the world's leading evidence-based medical decision support systems, provides physicians with prompt access to the latest scientific research, international clinical protocols, and modern treatment approaches. This creates the conditions for more accurate and scientifically based decisions to be made in the diagnostic and treatment process.
Within the framework of the cooperation, the "UpToDate" platform will be implemented in clinics and medical centers within Referans Medical Group. Through the platform, physicians and other medical professionals will be provided with rapid access to up-to-date medical information and international clinical protocols in their daily practice, their continuous professional development will be supported, medical services will be aligned with international standards, and as a result, the quality of medical services provided to patients will be further enhanced.
This cooperation is regarded as an important step in the development of a knowledge-based medical service model in the region and the implementation of modern digital healthcare solutions.
