Referans Medical Group is a healthcare network where health is never left to chance and every result is backed by responsibility. What began in 2016 with a single laboratory has grown into the first and only clinical network established in Azerbaijan.

From a Single Laboratory to a Comprehensive Network

We began our operations with laboratory services because accurate diagnosis is the foundation of quality treatment. From day one, we made accuracy our priority. Starting in 2017, new clinics began joining our network, both across Azerbaijan and beyond its borders. Today, RMG is by its patients’ side with 28 branches in Baku, 22 in the regions, and 3 abroad.

For us, quality is a measurable commitment. In 2018, we obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification, successfully renewing it in 2021 and 2024. In 2024, we became the first and only center in Azerbaijan to receive USAC accreditation from the United States.

Our laboratories are equipped with fully automated systems. Across 10 core departments, including CoLab, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology, Genetics, Cytogenetics, Immunology, Serology, Pathohistology, and Tandem MS, we perform more than 7,000 types of tests. At the heart of every process is one principle:

In 2025, RMG entered a new phase: today, everything from laboratory diagnostics to complex surgical procedures can be provided within a single integrated network. With Referans Hayat Hospital, Referans Sea Breeze Hospital,  Referans Mardakan Hospital and Referans MediPark Hospital, we expanded our specialized clinical services.

Referans on the International Stage

RMG’s international expansion began in 2023, with our first international branches opening in Aktau, Kazakhstan, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 2025, American Hospital Tbilisi, the largest private hospital in Georgia, joined the RMG network.

Today, with 4 international branches, our network has reached significant milestones on its journey toward becoming a regional healthcare hub.
