Referans Clinical Laboratory Center has been operating in Azerbaijan’s laboratory diagnostics sector since 2016 and has evolved over the years into one of the country’s laboratories offering the widest range of diagnostic tests. Our mission is simple: to provide every patient with accurate and timely results in accordance with international standards. Because we believe that the result you receive is not simply a number — it is the first step toward an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment.

Our laboratories are equipped with modern, fully automated equipment, where more than 7,000 laboratory tests are performed. This extensive range is built around ten specialized departments: CoLab, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Microbiology, Genetics, Cytogenetics, Immunology, Serology, Histopathology, and Tandem MS. Subspecialties such as prenatal diagnostics, flow cytometry, and metabolic screening further expand our capabilities. Thanks to this structure, from routine blood tests to the most complex genetic and molecular examinations, the vast majority of tests a patient may require can be performed at a single center under unified quality control.

Genetic diagnostics is a particular source of pride for our center. We have played a pioneering role in the development of genetic testing in Azerbaijan and were among the first to introduce a number of specialized tests and panels in the country. This represents not only technological capability, but also extensive scientific expertise and a highly qualified professional team built around this field.

Quality is not a slogan for us; it is a daily working principle. All our processes — from sample reception (pre-analytical) to analysis (analytical) and delivery of results (post-analytical) — undergo strict internal quality control. As international confirmation of this approach, we have successfully obtained the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification three times, in 2018, 2021, and 2024. Our laboratory also undergoes regular internal and external audits, continuously verifying the reliability of its results.
