On May 8, 2024, Referans Medical Group, together with the Main Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support and organization of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice, organized free medical examinations dedicated to the 101st anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The social event was attended by women serving sentences in women's correctional colony №4 of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice and their children and minors serving sentences in a juvenile colony. In accordance with the wishes of the prisoners, doctor profiles were determined in advance and appropriate examinations were carried out.
Neurologists, gynecologists, mammologists, cardiologists, dermatologists, infectious hepatologists, and ENT specialists took part in the event. In addition to medical examinations, ultrasound examinations, echocardiography (ECHO) and electrocardiography (ECG), laboratory tests and hearing tests were performed. In total, more than 450 services were provided as part of the campaign, including medical examinations and diagnostic services, and relevant examinations were carried out.
It should be noted that within the framework of the 2023 “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, free medical examinations of the Penitentiary Service № 4 of the Ministry of Justice and the Educational Institution were successfully completed.
